Ravi Zacharias Ministries. His teachings make you think very much. The teaching I am listening to at the moment is 'Marching to a Different Drummer'. Awesome series!

Men - something for you too. These evenings are great. What could be better than getting together with a few mates and enjoying a curry and listening to a great speaker.
Last night, Siloam did their first night with regards the Cardiff Night Shelter. It is based on the project that Newport started in 2009. We need more churches to come on board. If any churches are interested in getting involved, let me know by adding a comment here and someone will get back to you.
ABOUT: In Cardiff (South Wales) there is a need for emergency accommodation for rough sleepers whilst long term solutions are being sought. The night shelter fills in the gap in providing safety and refuge for those who do not have the option of temporary or permanent accommodation and continue to struggle with their cycle of homelessness and addiction. The night shelter is open during the coldest months of the year. HOW IT WORKS:Night Shelter is a project run by volunteers from across Cardiff and surrounding areas. It offers a warm welcome, hot supper, bed and breakfast in a safe environment to homeless guests. The shelter operates in a different church building each night of the week, with a local team of volunteers taking responsibility for each night. In order for this to run even better - we need more churches to come on board. The more churches on board the easier it becomes with each church doing it maybe once a month. At present each church is doing it once a week. Each Guest that stays at the shelter receives a large bag with their name on and bedding inside. This bag, along with their belongings is transferred from one shelter to the next ready for the next nights’ stay. Subscribers will be pulled into the dramatic last week of Jesus' life, death and resurrection as it happened 2000 years ago; experiencing in real time the suffering, pain and joy in a series of messages reaching a climax on Easter Sunday, 2011. Starting a week before Easter on 17th April, the story begins to unfold in approx 30 short messages by text, email or Twitter. The messages are from the perspective of a number of observers, each message giving a unique viewpoint on what they ‘see’, allowing the subscriber to journey through Holy Week with them. Subscribers receive the messages at the time events would have happened 2000 years ago. Read more HERE. Synopsis Martin Sheen, plays Tom, an American doctor who comes to St. Jean Pied de Port, France to collect the remains of his adult son, killed in the Pyrenees in a storm while walking The Camino de Santiago, also known as The Way of Saint James. Driven by his profound sadness and desire to understand his son better, Tom decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage, leaving his "California bubble life" behind. Armed with his son's backpack and guidebook, Tom navigates the 800km historical pilgrimage from the French Pyrenees, to Santiago de Compostela in the north west of Spain, but soon discovers that he will not be alone on this journey. While walking The Camino, Tom meets other pilgrims from around the world, all broken and looking for greater meaning in their lives: a Dutchman (Yorick van Wageningen) a Canadian (Deborah Kara Unger) and an Irish writer (James Nesbitt) who is suffering from a bout of "writer's block." From the hardship experienced along 'The Way' this unlikely quartet of misfits create an everlasting bond and Tom begins to learn what it means to be a citizen of the world again, and discovers the difference between "The life we live and the life we choose." 'The Way' was filmed entirely in Spain and France along the actual Camino de Santiago. Visit the Official Site HERE. I awoke, standing 95% naked in the middle of my room with my iPhone in my hand, as a woman spoke down the phone to me: “Do you think the message of Jesus has become irrelevant to men?” she asked.
